BO was part of the generational run of MP COD games, but was also maybe the start of the end. I really loved BO1 - especially the maps. Still, this is where the feel of the games started to get a little "plasticky", less "direct" like MW2, and you could feel it. No idea about PC status these days, but I do think the maps hold up even today.

Works but controller support is terrible. Got an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 & when I try using it in BO1 multiplayer particularly in Combat Training I can't use my D pad or X button so basically I cant respawn with X or switch weapons with a dead opponent & cant activate any of my killstreak stuff such as spy plane, care package, RCXD, etc. I am also forced to use a key bord & mouse for menu navigation even with my controller(gamepad) enabled. Its like they made the game entirely with a mouse & key bord & didn't think about the players that use controllers which is most COD gamers. Developers: please fix the godawfull controller support! Its not that hard since this game was initially made for consoles so good controller support should be a given.

I have fun sometimes playing it. It's less challenging than CS2. The DLCs are pricey, and some servers require them, but not all. If you get this game for cheap, ehh, it's easier than CS2
