Waste of your money, DO NOT BUY unless you have at least a decent knowledge of PC software, the hoops you have to jump through just to launch the damned game is a joke. AND THEY STILL WANT OVER £30 FOR IT?? Go buy 3 or 4 indy games and save yourselves the headache.

Modern Warfare: Remastered - это именно то, каким мы видели в детстве оригинальный Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare при первом прохождении Один из тех немногочисленных случаев, когда обновлённая версия никак не испортила первоначальную игру, а только улучшила. Графика, анимации, скриптовые сценки - всё доведено до ума, всё здорово, всё красиво. Было очень приятно пройти Ремастер, сравнивая обновлённую постановку скриптовых сцен с оригинальной. В связи с этим можно даже сказать, что заремастерилась не только сама игра, но и мои впечатления о COD 4: MW1, хех) И приятные достижения - как приятный бонус. Жаль, что Modern Warfare 2 Remastered так и остался эксклюзивом Батл-Нета (уж очень хотелось бы видеть его именно здесь, в Стиме), а Modern Warfare 3 Remastered и вовсе так и не увидел свет. Но что есть, то есть. За существующие два Ремастера в их текущем виде уже большое спасибо.

最早接触的是2，但真正自己第一次玩通关的还是4。犹清晰记得当年被核弹爆炸那一幕的震撼。每一幕都烙下了太深的印记：雨天船上突袭，切尔诺贝利潜行，坦克从身边压过的恐惧等等，当然还有最后的超赞的ed rap曲。当年就在想，怎么能有这么真实的战争体验。现在重温了一遍，画质变强了，中文也有了，一切都更好了，还有什么理由给低分呢？可能放在现在看已经过时了，比如没有cg，画质落后，但它终究是fps史上一座里程碑。 +++cod4，fps旗帜，没啥好说的。 9.5/10，有情怀加成的神作，是适合隔段时间就重温一下经典。

ONLY BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO PLAY CAMPAIGN! NO MULTIPLAYER! Disclaimer: The campaign has some shader rendering problems that will 100% crash your game. Some of them are guaranteed encounterable. If and when you come across these crashes (usually after a cutscene is completed), you will soft lock on a black screen or be sent back to windows home. When that happens, just load up the game (not in safe mode), go to options, graphics, advanced settings, turn texture resolution to low, and make sure shader preload is off. the game will load now. once loaded in you can switch resolution back to whatever you wanted before. this worked every time I came across a shader crash, which I only encountered about 4 times. Other than those two things, I really enjoyed replaying mwr, what a beautiful campaign! Was INSANELY tough on veteran, especially Mile High Club.

CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED I still remember how amazing the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was when it first came out. That game was a huge part of my childhood and honestly one of the games that made me love Call of Duty in the first place. Playing the 2017 Remastered version brings back so many memories. The single-player campaign is still incredible. The missions, the characters, the atmosphere and the story all hold up really well. There are so many moments that are burned into my memory, especially missions like All Ghillied Up. Going back through the campaign with the upgraded graphics is such a cool experience because it feels like the game I remember, just cleaned up and brought back to life. The multiplayer is where the nostalgia really hits me though. The classic maps, the weapons, the killstreaks and the overall gameplay are just so much fun. There is something about the older Call of Duty multiplayer that feels different from the newer games. It is simple, fast and satisfying without needing a million different mechanics and systems. I love being able to jump into a match and immediately know what I'm doing. Shoot, move, find the enemy, get your streaks and try not to get absolutely destroyed. 😂 The maps are legendary and the gunplay still feels great. That is what makes this remaster so special to me. It reminds me why I loved Call of Duty so much in the first place. It is not just about having better graphics. It is about bringing back the feeling of playing these games when they were at their peak. Modern Warfare was an absolute classic when it originally released, and I think the remaster did a great job of letting us experience that classic game again while making it look much better on newer hardware. I have so much nostalgia for this era of Call of Duty, and getting to play it again is honestly awesome. And now I cannot wait for Call of Duty: World at War, the original COD 5, to get the remaster treatment. If they ever properly remaster World at War, I am going to be all over it. The campaign, multiplayer and especially the original Zombies mode would bring back an insane amount of memories. Modern Warfare Remastered is a reminder of why the classic Call of Duty games were so damn good. 10/10.

Its finally time to talk about this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. So, first thing, I was super excited to play this game because about 3-4 years ago I got to watch Zo play them and unexpectedly fell in love with a lot of the characters. I was itching to play this (as I mentioned at the end of my Ghosts review) because I played through the reboots and kiiiiiinda hated them and had heard that the story in these original games was better and was more compelling. Now, I played this game almost the whole way through about 3.5-4 months ago and could genuinely not tell you what happened at all, there was a snow section I think? and I know that there was like an exfill mission or something with a helecopter and a warship level that was super annoying and almost bricked my game? but aside from that, I have two massive complaints. ONE. WHY ARE THESE GAMES STILL SO MUCH MONEY??? You should absolutely not be charging like $65AUD for a game that was remastered in 2017 9 whole years ago, just get it on sale I think I got this for like $23AUD TWO. This game is actually bricked, I actually can't physically finish the game (I was on the mission All In) and now just actually can't play the last 2-3 missions. I really wanted to finish it before publishing a review but I PHYSICALLY CAN'T!!! And I know that others have experienced the same thing!!! This game is so janky on PC and even though I was only playing for the characters it even made the gameplay a little unbearable. I'm sure I was enjoying this game at least a bit before it decided to brick itself, I really enjoy the idea of COD and the COD games overall (because I hate myself) but just go play Ghosts :( I'm gonna play the second game now and hopefully it runs ok but I can't reccomend a game that doesn't work Sorry Soap and Price, love u guys i'll see you in MW2!!!!
