I don’t play EA FC 25 all the time, but every now and then I just get the urge to play some football, and that’s when this game does the job pretty well. When I’m in the mood for a few matches, it’s actually quite enjoyable, and there’s something satisfying about just sitting down and playing a couple of games without having to think too much. The gameplay itself is pretty decent. The matches can be fun, especially when you get into a good rhythm and start building attacks properly. There’s enough variety in how you can play, and scoring a nice goal still feels great. It’s not a perfect football game by any means, but for those moments when you just want to play some football, it works. My biggest problem with the game, though, is the optimization. With my hardware, EA FC 25 really should be running much better than it does. The performance can be surprisingly inconsistent, and it honestly feels like the game is much more demanding than it has any right to be. For a football game, I expected it to run smoothly without having to constantly worry about performance. Still, when everything works properly, I have a pretty good time with it. I wouldn’t call it a game I could play every day for hours, but I don’t think it needs to be. Sometimes you just get that random urge to play football, launch FC 25, play a few matches, score some goals, get annoyed at the game for something stupid, and then quit. Overall, EA FC 25 is a pretty decent football game that does what I want from it when I’m in the mood for football. The optimization is probably my biggest complaint, but aside from that, I have no major issues with it. I’d give it around 7.5/10.

Usless pice of .... Your club lvl means nothing if u win more than 2 games, but you can lose more than 2 and it's okay. Randomly handicaped teams... even when your club is better every player of it is running slower (including you) and passing is sh*t.... Waste of time!

Disclaimer: I am a Manager Career Mode player. In this review I pay attention to gameplay, team management and Manager Career Mode features - in addition to a piece about monetisation. Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs are fully ignored. The gameplay is okay. Goalkeepers have gotten more intelligent over years of development, but occasionally they still do weird things. Within team/tactics management, this game takes a step backwards compared to FC 24 by removing the option to create custom formations and player roles. Instead, you're forced to work with preset formations and player roles. A frustration for many, including me. When it comes to Manager Career Mode, the addition of a social media including the appearance of Fabrizio Romano (a transfer market influencer with little journalistic pedigree) adds very little to the experience. To me, the old news feed (present in FC 24 and in earlier EA SPORTS FIFA-games) brought forward updates better, including moving graphics at times which made the news feed feel alive. Many other Manager Career Mode features are left untouched. The youth academy gets some necessary updates, including youth tournaments that you can actively play in every two months. However, youth tournament performance doesn't yield anything meaningful for your club or manager. There is no scrutiny and very little reward to gain from competing in a youth tournament with your scouted youngsters. For me, the most disappointing about EA SPORTS FC 25 is that no new football leagues are added to the game. Football leagues from Czechia, Greece, Croatia and Ukraine are long overdue an inclusion in what is called 'The World's Game'. From a Career Mode player's perspective, this feels like a missed opportunity to boost the realism and immersion when it comes to the experience regarding UEFA European competitions. And then we're not even talking about football leagues outside of Europe, which are massively under-represented. I didn't yet touch on the monetisation, which is getting worse every year. The introduction of a reward pass and the requirement to play online to rack up (lacklustre) rewards is frustrating. After paying a hefty price to add the game to your library, you would expect more freedom and less restriction. All in all, EA SPORTS FC 25 is a story of missed opportunities. I would not recommend this game to a fellow Career Mode player. During its release year, it was the newest game available, but not the best.

Shocking EA, absolutely shocking. I use REWASD for accessibility needs so I can't play this game any more. Never mind that I only play offline, against friends in to comfort of my own home. Absolutely criminal. Add to that the limited rosters (International teams are a joke) and the fact that it repeatedly forgets that my friends have selected alternate controls (an issue that has plagued the franchise for years.

Mais do mesmo. É o jogo que eu abro quando quero desligar o cérebro, não pensar muito e simplesmente jogar alguma coisa para relaxar. Cumpre esse papel? Sim. Mas, como jogo, é difícil ignorar que parece cada vez mais do mesmo. Em alguns aspectos, chega a ser igual ou até pior que os anteriores. No fim das contas, continuo jogando porque é exatamente aquele tipo de jogo que você coloca para jogar algumas partidas sem compromisso. **Bom para relaxar, mas não espere grandes novidades.**

FC 25 is actually pretty decent. Runs smooth, and having a few different modes makes it a solid time-killer. Not bad at all if you just want to play some games
