Really ♥♥♥♥ on a fresh install but whenever you install mods to make it more immersive (for e.g frik, full dialog vr) it becomes an extremely fun and immersive game. The vr port is pretty buggy and i even found a game exploit where if you use teleportation and phase your head through a door (even locked) you can teleport through it bypassing chains, locks etc. kudos for being runable on a potato

I'm going to be extremely honest: if you aren't willing to do hours of modding, dragging DLC files from the flat-screen version after downpatching, etc., this game isn't for you. This game on its own is probably the worst VR port to ever exist on the planet and is so unbelievably bare-bones it's almost laughable—you are literally just a floating Pip-Boy and gun. With the right modlist, however, it can become one of the best; it just depends on how much time (and that Nexus subscription) you are willing to waste to make it work (♥♥♥♥ you, Nexus Mods). If it weren't for the modding community, I would give this game a big fat "don't recommend," but from my experience playing with the right mods, I'll give it a thumbs up. DO NOT buy this game at full price. You may as well give that money to someone in need, because at least then the money isn't being wasted. Wait for a sale 100%.

im only a few hours in and so far i'm enjoying the play. i will say that the iron sights on pipe weapons are truly terrible. the graphics are good and the game overall runs extremely well for me. my only real gripe is the game keeps making me super tall. like preston shouldn't look like a short guy. other than that i love it.

Is this wonky mess worth it? Not really... A poorly deployed attempt at just cramming a game into VR, which is a shame because if this was done right it would be an amazing title. For starters, my height is ridiculously low. I am maybe 4ft tall...I have tried several fixes and none work, I still feel like the world is MASSIVE and I am just a 9 year old running around in it. Controls are AWFUL and not thought out for a VR title at all. The pip boy menus are just not VR compatible and should have been completely reworked. Instead you can either keep your wrist floating close to your face or dedicate the menu to left trigger. Once in the pip boy you use the A and B on one controller to scroll left and right on the main menus and the control stick to go left and right on sub menus? At the very least, I could go left and right with the control stick and DOWN and UP to go from menu to sub menu. Weapons also are just automatic reload, press a button and everything just happens. There is a mod out there that kind of fixes this...I think...I never got it running. There is also no rifle gripping. You can hover your hand out there like you are gripping the rifle but it wont matter. It just feels like a 2d game jammed into a quickly implemented VR world. I did almost gave this a thumbs up though just to sit down with a life size Dog Meat! Who's a good boy?!

con le giuste mod diventa un gioco davvero di impatto, ma sicuramente non vale i 60 euro di listino. lo avrei pagato a prezzo pieno solo se avessero implementato davvero tutte le caratteristiche dei giochi vr, ma non ci sono e sono in gran parte risolvibili solo grazie ai modder.

FALLOUT 4. EN RV. NO HACE FALTA DECIR NADA MÁS. He leido mucho sobre que el juego se veía borroso, pero yo lo veo perfectamente nítido. Con texturas algo antiguas, claro, porque es un juego algo antiguo, pero la nitidez es excelente. Sin moddearlo ni nada, simplemente optimizando mi equipo para reproducir el juego con nitidez. Y nada de invertir mucho tiempo en eso, 2 minutos ajustando parámetros en la app de NVIDIA, 30 segundos para poner la calidad al máximo en la configuración dentro del juego y listo. Dicho esto, el juego es perfecto porque Fallout 4 es un juego perfecto. De modo que Fallout 4 en RV no puede ser otra cosa salvo un juego perfecto. Pero como producto en RV tiene cosas mejorables. Lo que menos me gusta es que no se vean las manos, que no se puedan sujetar armas con dos manos y que la recarga de las armas sea con un botón, todo lo demás me ha parecido excelente, y estar dentro del juego es una experiencia genial que despierta en mi un sentimiento de maravilla, como cuando era un crio y disfrutaba como un enano con los primeros juegos de consola. Pero no es un juego hecho desde cero para la RV, sino un port a la RV, por eso no tiene mecánicas típicas de los juegos RV, tales como abrir puertas, coger cosas del escenario...etc. No debes esperar un juego RV total a lo ALYX porque no lo es, es más bien Fallout 4 en 3D immersivo, pero llamemoslo Fallout 4 RV y disfrutemoslo. No soy del todo neutral porque soy un fan absoluto de Fallout. En plano he jugado unas 1200 horas entre PC, XBOX y en SWITCH 2, de modo que mi opinión no es la de un jugador casual, pero jugarlo en RV me ha permitido revisitarlo, volver a disfrutarlo y vagar por el Yermo como nunca antes lo había hecho. Aún sigo descubriendo cosas. Aun me gusta meterme en edificios que había dejado pasar. Aún disfruto haciendo justicia en el Yermo. Para mi es magia pura.

the lack of manual reloading among with other weird choices make this port a lot more boring than you'd think a fallout 4 in vr would be. just plainly disappointing though it makes me hope for a major qol improvements update somehow sometime in the future

In pratica non è stato adattato per niente, pessimo sia come gioco VR in se per se, sia come ottimizzazione. Un enorme delusione. NON COMPRATELO a meno che non abbiate una scheda grafica molto potente e tanta pazienza da dedicare a mods e vi piaccia giocare con la paura di vedere bug grafici e crash a iosa.
