The game is good, BUT: Always-online ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prevents launching the game. Can't be assed to find and apply a crack, so downvote you go. ubisoft is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company istg

Apparently, it's not possible to even launch this game in my country. I changed the name of "fc3_blooddragon.exe" to "fc3bdupdatersteam.exe" just so I can launch the game for 5 minutes, staring at a broken black screen, and I can write this review. The Far Cry series is really good, and I really love them so much. It's not a bad series, it's not their fault. Ubisoft... just... Ubisoft.

This game is stupid, not in a bad way at all though. It has all the things we hate about poorly made video games, so so storytelling, repetitive catch phrases, and next to no explanation for half of the stuff that happens. The difference here is that all of this was intentional. It's all meant to feel like a poorly written 80's action movie, and boy did they nail that feeling right on the head.

You install a cool game you've bought a while ago on sale. Some blurry launcher window shows up asking you to create another account. You close the game and search for a way to refund the game. Simple as. Having additional level of DRM in a 13 year old game which has been cracked 13 years ago is very unnecessary.

A fun little extension of the Far Cry 3 map or engine or whatever you call it, and Michael Biehn delivers some really funny lines in this one. It doesn't overstay it's welcome but I wouldn't have minded having a few more (interesting) things to do in the wrap-up. The cutscenes were pretty good, at least.
