Just completed my first ever full playthrough in 2026, and this game is still a blast. No filler, no bloat, no taking away the player's agency -- pure fast paced adrenaline rush all the way through!

Truly a GTA game. Shooting, driving and of course the gang members blowing up your car within seconds. The story is confusing you just run errands for mission givers and that's all. The side missions are ok, but the ambulance flipping over is tiring and the taxi 100 fares are annoying too. So I skipped them. Otherwise it's good enough. Must play before GTA 6. Otherwise you are missing out big.

this is bullsh**. grand theft auto 3 can be... alright i guess at times but otherwises its sooooooo boring and repetitive. all you do is errands, jobs, and killings for some guy and we only get a teeny tiny bit of story thats still boring af. we get to see zero character devolpment and relationship between the protagonist and the characters of the game, wanna know why? BECAUSE HE CANT EVEN SPEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!!! dont waste your time on this game, play the other grand theft autos, theyre peak, and if youre like me wanting to know the entire story of the series then just watch a video for the games entire story, thats what i'm going to do rn. edit: wow i was wrong this game is actually ama- no its still shi**. okay, so basically so much is being thrown at you and it doesnt make sense. i dont want to give too much spoilers, but the main character despite not being able to speak is one cold, ruthless guy just like everyone describes. its like every gang, familly, affilation hes with he just betrays them in some way behined their back, and sometimes when he meets a new character he'll just do a job for them without being told hes getting a reward or not (even though he does get a reward). this game is so random and written so badly, just do what i did and watch the full game movie of this game.

I love coming back to this game every now and then—primarily, I suppose, because of its cold, oppressive atmosphere. It strikes a remarkable balance between grimness and brutality on the one hand, and cartoonish slapstick on the other. It’s showing its age a bit these days; plus, it’s no longer available for purchase and requires some tinkering to get running properly. Nevertheless, it’s a fantastic game that succeeds in its goal of entertaining

poorly designed old game. graphic too dark. inconvenient map and store sign. random gangs shoot you. extremely fragile vehicle. unreasonably difficult mission. unfriendly aiming.

back when it released, it was prolly the most coolest ♥♥♥♥ ever, and i still do agree. its a solid decent game that introduced a true open world genre to video games. however i think the devs fell asleep during the planning of the final missions because they are god awful.
