Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure A DLC that became a game for some reason This was already Borderlands 2 DLC. And honestly, that's my biggest problem with this release. The original Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep was already a fantastic Borderlands 2 DLC. It worked perfectly where it was, and there really wasn't much reason to turn it into a separate standalone game. Then Wonderlands came along and suddenly we got this standalone version. And what does that give us? Another Steam game. Another achievement list. And a standalone experience that gives you considerably less content than simply owning Borderlands 2 with the DLC. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE GOOD The actual campaign is still fun. It's classic Borderlands, with Tiny Tina running her own ridiculous version of a tabletop RPG. The humour is great, the characters are memorable, the loot is fun, and the whole fantasy theme works surprisingly well. If you've never played the DLC before, there's definitely a good time to be had here. THE BAD The standalone release itself feels completely unnecessary. I finished the entire story in around 5 hours, reaching level 16. That's not necessarily a problem for DLC, but as a standalone game, it makes the value questionable. Especially when you can often pick up Borderlands 2 on sale for a similar price, get the full Borderlands 2 campaign, all of its other content, and Assault on Dragon Keep as part of it. Why buy the standalone version when Borderlands 2 gives you so much more for your money? And if you've already played the original DLC? You get to earn all the achievements again. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERFORMANCE ISSUES I've also been having some strange performance issues while playing. They first started when I reached Mines of Avarice, and from that point onward they stuck around for the rest of the game. It wasn't just a problem with that particular area either. The performance issues continued after leaving the Mines, and even restarting the game didn't get rid of them. It's especially frustrating when the game had been running fine beforehand and then suddenly starts having these issues for the remainder of the playthrough. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE VERDICT Good DLC. Pointless standalone game. The original Assault on Dragon Keep is great. This standalone version? I'm struggling to understand why it needed to exist. You get a roughly 5-hour campaign, a separate achievement list, and less overall content than you would get by simply buying Borderlands 2 and its DLC. If you've never played Assault on Dragon Keep before, it's still worth experiencing. But honestly, buy Borderlands 2 on sale instead. You'll get the original game, far more content, and Assault on Dragon Keep included with it.

A tiny slice of Borderlands 2. It's not bad, but unless you get it for free, it's not worth getting over regular Borderlands 2. Borderlands 2 (as either full Borderlands) has better pacing and more content to explore builds in and gear up for. It also starts breaking towards the end. Stuff started falling under the floor. Ranged enemies showing delayed projectiles. Game crashing, etc.

Zacznijmy od tego, że jestem tolerancyjny jak mogę. Gra dla nikogo, już lepiej idź zagraj w BL2 i tam ograj dodatek, szkoda czasu, szkoda kasy.

i mean its not terrible.. i suppose but.. at least put the new skins and heads in borderlands 2 as well.

Как ДЛЦ внутри оригинальной игры - вещь отличная. Выносить это за пределы игры в отдельную игру? Было максимально странным решением, даже если в тот момент и готовилась к выходу Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (которая по факту тоже ДЛЦ для BL3 просто побольше, как и BL:TPS для BL2). Как и многие другие советуют - возьмите просто The Handsome collection или Legendary collection, хз есть ли оно там в составе, у меня регион Россия, поэтому я не вижу ценников и состава всех штук от 2К (сам получил бесплатно пока раздавали). При желании поиграть чисто в это ДЛЦ в оригинале есть возможность начать с персом 30 уровня и сразу пойти в любое ДЛЦ.
