Worms W.M.D to świetny powrót do klasycznej formuły Worms i jedna z najlepszych współczesnych odsłon serii. Ponownie dowodzimy drużyną robaków i próbujemy wyeliminować przeciwnika za pomocą absurdalnego arsenału. Bazooka, granaty, Holy Hand Grenade, Banana Bomb czy Concrete Donkey nadal potrafią doprowadzić do kompletnego chaosu. W.M.D dodaje również pojazdy, stacjonarne działka oraz crafting pozwalający tworzyć ulepszone wersje broni. Nowości nie niszczą klasycznej rozgrywki, a dobrze ją urozmaicają. Najwięcej zabawy daje oczywiście multiplayer. Planowanie idealnego strzału przez kilka minut tylko po to, żeby przypadkiem wysadzić własnego robaka, nadal jest esencją Wormsów. Kampania i wyzwania dla pojedynczego gracza są przyjemnym dodatkiem, ale prawdziwa siła tej gry ujawnia się podczas rozgrywek ze znajomymi. Klasyczne Wormsy w bardzo dobrej, nowoczesnej formie. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Does not work on macOS 26 Tahoe. The game is still listed as macOS compatible on Steam, but on an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 it launches to a black screen and is effectively unplayable. This is not an isolated issue - there have been multiple reports from M1, M2, M3 and M4 users, and Team17 has been aware of the problem for months. The usual troubleshooting steps (windowed mode, changing resolution, VSync, verifying files, Rosetta, etc.) do not solve it. There is a community-made workaround, but users should not have to install an unofficial patch from GitHub just to run a game that is still advertised as supporting macOS. The Windows version works fine, so the game itself is great - but do not buy it specifically for Mac until Team17 releases an official fix. I’ll gladly change this review once the macOS version is fixed.

This Worms game managed to shake up the formula while still being true to it and I'm surprised it's kind of forgotten (It feels that way at least!). Adds features I'm surprised it took so long to try if the game is kind of pricey and as usual the campaign isn't as good as deathmatches! Pros: -Probably the most visually impressive Worms game ever (If you prefer 2d) with detailed, hand drawn terrain and cartoony, mischievous worms (Sharp teeth now) if more dour -Substantial, if haphazard, customization options with lovely cross promotion (Mostly Team Fortress 2, in fact all 9 classes as hats/ masks) and expanded voice lines (And funnier) to make up for the missing ones... maybe (I might be imagining) -Added new features to shake things up without being disruptive (Hiding in buildings, vehicles, better ballistics) on top of the base, fun, Worms gameplay (The vehicles and buildings don't protect too much which is good) -Ultimately good edition of a crafting system (Some may have preferred the new weapons without it but this may give a tactical element - do I hoard ingredients for a strong weapon or make something specific and less expensive now?). Unfortunately the campaign doesn't encourage experimenting with them and a lot of these new weapons are variants (The biggest arsenal upgrade in worms history I believe though) Maybes: -Not much story (As usual) but it has funny descriptions, a few cutscenes etc. -Still weird AI (Sometimes dumb, other times masters at calculating wind impact on a bazooka) Cons: -Campaign is still dry and grindy (Bounty levels add a bit of puzzle like spice though) -Has the rare glitch where a magnet repelled mine will lead to an unending turn Full Video Review: https://youtu.be/8SinzSYJ7Oo Short Video Review: https://youtube.com/shorts/F43CcN9T6Jc

I have played almost every Worms Game from day one and this is for me the peak of the series so far. The replayability is infinite with different game modes, weapons, map types and other Settings to fiddle with. I have not touched the single player campaign though, to be honest. But as a game with friends, there's much fun to be had in this game! 10/10

Everytime I end up playing this game, I both have the worst and best time of my life. Luigi showed up one day and droned half my guys. Another time adachi threw a holy hand grenade into a pit and slaughtered thousands. 10/10
