Acredito que esse seja meu jogo favorito, o motivo bem simples, é meu jogo de conforto. Eu joguei pela primeira vez em 2016 e para mim na época era bem difícil e mesmo vendo dicas e tutoriais no youtube eu era bem piegas nessa porra, então fiz o que muita gente faz, desisti e desinstalei, até chegar as férias escolares de 2017 para 2018 e resolvi dar uma chance de novo, e manos, viciei nesse jogo ao ponto de quase REPROVAR no meu segundo ano do ensino médio, a qual eu cursava junto ao curso técnico do magistério (formação de professores de séries iniciais). Lembro como uma piada entre meus amigos o fato de eu quase reprovar no colégio por causa de um jogo, o que aparentemente é comum pq na net tem diversas histórias de pessoas que reprovaram na escola por causa de jogos muito mais complexos e viciantes tipo wow, lol, dota ou até mesmo rune escape, mas pra mim, foi sem sombra de dúvidas, Borderlands 2... Uma memória que muitos vão achar ridícula mas que guardo com certo carinho foi uma vez em 2018, era por volta de setembro, alguns amigos meus me convidaram para ''pegar'' umas moças (ou gurias para meus conterrâneos sulistas) a duas quadras seguindo a rua de cima de onde eu estudava, minha resposta foi ''siiiiiiiiim, bah vai ser tri bom, aham, gosto de muié'' e então todos de acordo, mas o vício de farmar itens lendários com a skill B0re do personagem Zer0 falava mais alto, mais alto ao ponte dos meus amigos chegarem na pracinha onde ia rolar pegação, uma caminhada que demorava 10 minutos, e nos mesmos 10 minutos eu fui CORRENDO para minha casa pra jogar esse jogo, lembro até hoje vividamente do meu amigo de infância ligando no whatsapp ''poh Cu_games64 cade tu? as guria tão esperando'', não respondi nada, pq eu havia corrido 3km pra chegar em casa para jogar logo, sim, o vício em border2 levou um adolescente gordo a correr 3km, e chegou antes dos amigos que haviam andando mal sequer 2 quadras de uma cidade pequena (média, não sei ao certo, tem 80 mil habitantes então não sei se é considerado grande, média ou pequena). Por fim, não tenho muito o que dizer sobre o jogo, é divertido, viciante no bom sentido, uma história bem legal, chefes legais, um humor que transita entre o millenial meio bobo (o personagem clap trap em sí pra ser mais específico) e o ápice do humor non-sense ou humor negro, pra mim é gostoso fazer as side quest e ver histórias bobinhas ou só algo sem sentido mesmo que te da uma arma única como recompensa, é isso, eu simplesmente amo esse jogo, na minha biblioteca steam tem diversos jogos que possuo mais horas, mas nenhum jogo me marcou, e me deu boas lembranças, e que mesmo hoje, casado, morando sozinho com minha esposa, pagando contas e se preocupando com o futuro, sempre vai ser confortável e bacana jogar border2, sempre vai ser legal ouvir um podcast aleatório enquanto crio um gunzerker, zero ou krieg desde o início pela trigésima vez, eu realmente gosto muito desse jogo.

Right now you can delete the mulitplayer part out of Borderlands 2. Its completely cooked. Doesnt work cause gearbox ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up in the backend and probably won't fix it. Otherwise this was a fun game to play.

Recommending with a buyer beware. The Handsome Collection is broken. A bunch of dlcs no longer work because Gearbox is no longer supplying licensing files to steam to activate them. This problem is currently only partially fixable, with absolute goats on Steam forums supplying the file for UVHM 1 pack, so you can still finish the game. But many head/skin packs aren't out there as of yet. Aside from that Fight For Sanctuary is also not included in the collection (and costs $15 which is more than the base game). But, it is still Borderlands 2, one of the best fps games ever made, and one of my personal favorite games of all time. There are thousands of hours to be had in this game, and with recent steps in pre-sequel modding, it sounds like it's gonna have a major renaissance. It is a true shame that Gearbox is going on the war path of becoming one of the worst gaming companies of all time, and is actively going back to their best titles and making them worse.

I came back to this game after a few years. The game used to be great. Now, online co-op is no longer functional. The game fails to connect or gets stuck when attempting to join a friend. If I ever successfully join a friend, I get disconnected within a couple of minutes. Occasionally, the game even gets stuck in some kind of connection loop when loading the main menu.

Summary They just don't make games like this anymore. This is not a perfect game, far from it, but there is a massive amount of content offered that is varied, entertaining, and very replayable. You don't need to create an account (unless you want SHIFT codes), you can play it offline or online, and it rewards you the more you play with permanent stat buffs to all of your characters (which can be toggled, as good games offer). The Good First off, if you're a nerd there are a bazillion and one references to random properties. You'll likely never understand them all, though there are YouTube videos that attempt to if you're interested. My favourite is the Goliaths referencing the old X-Men arcade game where Magneto addresses your party with the classic 'Welcome to die!' line. I mentioned the mountains of content, and while it's difficult to explain the bottom line is that there is at least as much DLC content as there is in the main game. The big DLCs alone will take several hours each to get through, and that's ignoring the side quests. They are also unique with a pirate-themed campaign, a dungeons & dragons inspired one, and so on. There's unique gear to be found as well. Plus smaller DLCs. There's so much here. The looter shooter aspect works very well, it's essentially unchanged since the 1990s when Diablo was doing random loot drops of various rarities for taking down enemies. It's not broken, so don't fix it. You'll slowly collect a second currency called Eridium that lets you expand your inventory and maximum ammo supplies (as well as other things down the road). The badass point system is something I've really come to appreciate. You gain badass 'rank' for doing almost anything (shooting a certain number of bullets, taking down a certain number of enemies, finding secrets, completing quests, using all the character classes, etc, etc, etc.). As your rank increases the game will award points you can spend to permanently upgrade all of your characters, even ones you haven't created yet. These upgrades include gun damage, shield capacity, improved chances at triggering elemental effects, and many other useful stat boosts. Every new character gets a clean slate of badass rank to gain; it's executed incredibly well. All of the character classes play very differently, but don't really restrict you in terms of using whatever weapons or strategies you want. There are classes that can lean in certain directions, for example the Commando can get additional assault rifle damage or the Assassin that has a whole skill tree dedicated to sniping. The Bad The big one here is stability. It runs fine the vast majority of the time, but it will crash on you. Especially if you have the HD Texture pack installed, but I've had it crash without that installed as well. When it does crash, unfortunately, it is very rarely clean and a crash to desktop. Instead the game will just lock up after several hours for seemingly random reasons, and a lot of those times you'll just need to CTRL+ALT+DEL and restart your PC. If it runs out of video memory, it will usually give you a message that you can click where it will reliably crash to desktop. The 2 stickiest points for me are Sanctuary and Opportunity. I've started a character and played through to the first time you get to Sanctuary. If I don't quit and restart once I get to Sanctuary, the game will reliably crash when I go to Zed's and the game attempts to show me his intro cutscene. Opportunity I have no idea why it locks up so frequently; uninstalling the HD Texture pack does seem to reduce crashes here. Sometimes the game locks up within 30 seconds of me going to Opportunity, other times I can complete every single quest it has to offer in one sitting without issue. If you want to play with friends online you should know that the MacOS and Windows versions of the game are different. It looks like the Windows version got an update that never came to MacOS, and as such you will not be able to see or play with friends online if you're on different OSs (even if you're both using Steam and are friends). There are workarounds online which basically involve reverting Windows installs to a previous, compatible version. This seems like a pretty blatant oversight, and it's unfortunate that this issue likely won't ever be fixed by Gearbox. The Ugly Borderlands 2 wasn't born ugly, it's more like it will accumulate little scars and imperfections the more you play it. That said, the biggest scar is how much the terrain will get in your way. You will get stuck and think you've soft-locked yourself at points. You will wonder why your character can't go up some stairs without needing to jump on the staircase first. If you try to walk forward for more than about 20 seconds in a straight line, you will probably get snagged and stuck on some piece of terrain. Should you drive on a road, your car will randomly get stopped dead or flung way off the track when two segments of the road meet. It's rarely a big deal, but when it happens during a boss fight or racing mission? Straight up ugly. The other big scar doesn't matter until after you've beaten the first two difficulty loops, and I would argue at this point you've probably gotten your money's worth out of the game. You might disagree if you insist on only playing a single character. The final difficulty level essentially requires you to have identically levelled characters, as whoever has the highest level in your party sets the bar for monster/loot levels. Did you finish the second loop at level 50 while your friend finished it at level 55? Well, too bad for you, everything will be level 55 if you both hop into the third loop. A difference of 5 levels might not sound like much, but at this point everything scales so quickly your gear is effectively useless if it's 3 or more levels behind you. Enemies are also buffed so much that you require slag element damage. That's fine for a couple classes - like the Commando who can drop turrets with slag ammo - but for other classes it means constantly switching gear so you can slag something and actually have a chance at taking it down. Now for the smaller scars. There have been multiple times where I haven't been able to join friends' games or vice versa, and that's usually solvable by restarting the game. The game tells you that you won't suffer damage from falling extreme heights, but if you go to certain parts of certain maps you will get insta-killed and there's a cost associated with dying. You only start with 2 weapon slots and need to progress through the main campaign to unlock all 4. It's basically impossible to play all of the content without running into balance issues. There are some ridiculous difficulty spikes, particularly for new players. There's just a couple parts that can really make you feel underpowered, even if you're several levels ahead of where you should be for that mission. You're never required to wait for specific times of day, but it can help complete bonus objectives for some missions. There's no real way to skip to a specific time of day, so you might just have to wait around for 5 minutes until it's night time. The list of nitpicks like this will likely vary between people in terms of how severely they impact the play experience. Conclusion Ultimately this game is far from pefect as I said way up top. However, I continue to play it and have spent way too many hours to say that the game is not worth the money or that the flaws outweigh the fun to be had. For me these annoyances are frustrating and sometimes omnipresent, but are either ignorable in the long run or have slowly transformed into simply being quirks in this already pretty weird game. This is easy to recommend, as long as you didn't skip to the end and missed the annoyances you will face.

Borderlands 2 удивительный случай когда действительно есть смысл возвращаться каждый раз и получать удовольствие от геймплея и открытого мира, но есть пару нюансов при покупке игры если хотите поиграть в одиночку либо с друзьями,с игрой не очень с техническим состсоянием и нет речь не о оптимизации а в том что игра у вас тупо может не запустится(если у вас мощный комп и стоит Windows 11 то готовьтесь получаться с запуском я серьезно, у меня такого нету комп у меня это рофлс но я вас предупредил) либо кооп не будет работать та и в целом Gearbox странные люди молчу за скандал с шпионажом в соглашении Ну ладно даже на такое игра затягивает оцениваю на 12/10
